The Institute of Neurobiology hosts three graduate programs: a Master of Science (Neurobiology) degree, a Doctorate in Biomedical Sciences, and a Doctorate in Psychology. In these programs the student specializes in the nervous system through formal courses and seminars, and at the same time he/she starts an original research project under the close supervision of a faculty mentor.

The Institute of Neurobiology has a teaching and research staff that belongs to the National Scientific Research System (SNI) and is acknowledged at national and international levels. Furthermore, the Institute has modern and spacious facilities to carry out research meeting international standards.

Based on their quality and level of scientific production, the three programs have been certified by the National Postgraduate Census of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACyT) in the category of Competent at the International Level, and, as a consequence, students have access to scholarships, provided they comply with the requirements of the respective Program.
